"In memory of Mrs. Sarah Dyer, wife of Mr. Stephen Dyer, who died July 9, 1814 in..........." the rest is unreadable. She died in Chester, VT. She married Stephen Dyer, May 3, 1778, in Cranston, Rhode Island. They had four known children, Amy, Huldah, Edmund and William, who is buried in Pine Grove Cemetery, Windsor Co.VT.
